# What is Ravenpod Crystal?
Ravenpod Crystal provides visibility across your Blockchain network. Participants in your permissioned Blockchain network can in real time securely monitor and manage your applications running on Blockchain Network based on Hyperledger Fabric. Ravenpod Crystal makes it easy to gain end-to-end visibility across your web and Blockchain environments. Given the dynamic nature of blockchains, this platform uses various data analysis techniques to automatically discover transaction participants, flows and performance parameters. These nominal characteristics are then mapped to topologies, processes and smart-contract based governance parameters. This application-centric view allows:

# How it works?
Ravenpod Crystal consists of Data Collector for Web App and Data Collector for Chaincode. They collect and store metrics, data from web-based applications and its associated chaincodes within the blockchain network through the use of Hyperledger Fabric SDKs (opens new window) and Hyperledger Fabric Chaincode SDK (opens new window) respectively. Ravenpod Crystal receives the data gathered over the network, processes, analyzes and transliterates the data into valuable and actionable information viewable through a dashboard-type interface.
